Alternatively feel free to send us a rough inventory of what you have to clear and we can base our estimate on this. Sometimes it is necessary for us to come out and see the job in person. Hoarded properties and larger commercial clearances are usually the sort of jobs we would need to come out and see beforehand.

The answer to this all depends on exactly what we clear for you. Our primary aim is to reuse and rehome as much as possible, this allows us to not only do our bit for the environment but also to keep our costs down and enable us to offer you as competitive a price as possible. A contents valuation for probate purposes is a valuation of any goods & chattels contained within a property. These items can include but aren’t limited to: Antiques, Art, Jewellery, Furniture, Motor Vehicles, Collectables, Fine Wines & Spirits, Stamps, Vintage Toys. We base our valuations on current open market prices and can email or post our valuations to you within 48 hours of visiting the property. We can also advise on how best to sell any items valued through our network of auctions and dealers.

At present the only items which we don’t clear are the following: Biological Waste, Hazardous Waste, Radioactive Chemicals, Asbestos. We are able to arrange third party contractors to removal asbestos and some forms of hazardous waste if they are found on a full property clearance whilst we are carrying out work.

Our teams will always make the effort to leave your property as clean and tidy as possible. We always finish each job with a thorough sweep up and hoover if required. We are able to remove carpets and underlay if required and also offer a cleaning service.

There are lots of benefits to using our clearance service rather than getting a skip. Firstly 9 times out of 10 our clearance service works out cheaper. These days skips are expensive, standard builders skips have a smaller capacity than any of our trucks and work out at the same price. You need a license in order to put a skip outside your house unless you have off street parking. If you get a skip you still need to load it, our service includes labour so you don’t have to lift a finger. Most importantly our service concentrates on reuse, the majority of items which go inside a skip will never be reused again. Our service is more environmentally friendly and works out better for your pocket!

We have the tools and experience to dismantle anything which needs taking apart in order to remove it from the property. Often our skilled teams are able to manipulate furniture and remove it without dismantling. This makes it easier for us to ensure the items are reused. Occasionally items like large wardrobes will need dismantling. This is a job that our team will take care of. All you have to do is point to what needs to go! We are also able to box up and bag up items which need to be cleared.

Yes we offer a cleaning service. We are able to offer end of tenancy style cleans and pre-sale cleans to customers who are planning on putting the property up for sale. This ensures that the property is left ready for estate agents to come in and take photos and for potential buyers to come and view the property.

It all depends on the size of the job. We aim to complete most clearances in one day. However large properties and hoarded properties can take longer. We are able to give a much better indication once we have seen initial photographs or visited the property.

Yes we work closely with estate agents and solicitors. We are able to liaise with them in order to offer an initial quote and eventually clear the property in question. We offer a free key collection service whereby we will liaise with your solicitor/estate agent to collect the keys from them. This way you aren’t required to meet us at the property.

This is something we are asked more and more frequently. The short answer is yes. Many estate agents would prefer that a house is dressed with furniture when they are taking photographs and conducting viewings. We are able to complete clearances in 2 stages. Stage 1: Clearing the property of junk and clutter but leaving furniture such as beds, wardrobes & sofas to dress it. Stage 2: Upon completion of the sale we return to clear the remaining furniture.

Yes we frequently help customers who live at the other end of the country as well as international customers. We are happy to liaise with any third party in order to gain access to the property and can accept keys which are posted to our office.
